コロナウイルスの影響で世界中が混乱していますね。
その影響が弓道界にも押し寄せ、使用禁止になる弓道場が後をたちません。
そこでSNSを使用してこういった呼びかけをしてみました。

The world is confused by the effects of the coronavirus.
And impact has hit Kyudo too, and the dojo been banned one after another.
So I used SNS to make such a call.

これを機会に自宅でできるトレーニングや弓具の整備を見つめ直す良い機会にしよう！
色々落ち着いて弓を再開する際に良いスタートダッシュになればいいなと思いました。
今回はすぐに実践出来そうな整備方法を一先ず三つ、ご紹介します。

This time, I will introduce three maintenance methods that can be practiced immediately.

①でんぷん糊の活用（握り）Use starch glue to Nigiri.

握り革を貼った時に後から少し手直ししたい時に、木工用ボンドだと手直しがしにくいと思った事はありませんか？
そこで、木工用ボンドにでんぷん糊を混ぜると乾くスピードが緩やかになり、ギリギリまで手直しできます。

僕は握り革を貼る際に木工用ボンドを使用していますが、確かに後からの手入れがしにくいですね。
無理やりズラすと既に乾き始めた部分がダマになってしまったり・・・。僕も実践してみます！

Have you ever thought it would be difficult to rework with a woodworking bond when you want to do a little rework after putting the leather on?
Therefore, if starch glue mixed with a woodworking bond, the drying speed will be slower and you can adjust it to the last minute.

I use a woodworking bond when attaching leather, but it is certainly difficult to clean up later.
If you forcibly slip, the part that has already started to dry will become lumpy. I’ll try it too!

②でんぷん糊の活用（弽補修）Use starch glue to Yugake.
弽の簡易的な補修の際にもでんぷん糊は有効です。木工用ボンドでめくれた革を補修すると修正が大変ですが、
でんぷん糊なら水に溶けます。（ちなみに情報提供者の方はヤマト糊を使用しているとのこと）

Starch paste is also effective for simple repair of Yugake.
Repairing leather turned up with a woodworking bond can be a major modification, Starch paste dissolves in water.

応急処置でもでんぷん糊が有効みたいですね。確かに、木工用ボンドだと硬くなりすぎるので簡単な補修に使えそうです。
弓具店に修理をお願いする際にも接着剤を落とす手間が少しだけ減るかもしれませんね。

It seems that starch glue is effective for first aid. Certainly, wood glue is too hard, so starch glue seems to be used for simple repairs.
When asking Kyuguten for repair, it will saves the labor of craftsmen.

②中仕掛けにマニキュア Apply nail polish to Nakajikake

麻や合成繊維で巻いた中仕掛けの上にマニキュアでコーティングをします。

初耳です、中仕掛けにマニキュア・・・？パリパリになるんじゃないかと思って質問してみたのですが、パリパリにはならないとのこと。
中仕掛けの耐久力UPは正直嬉しいですね。弦自体の寿命にも大きく繋がりそうです

I heard it for the first time. Manicure for Nakajikake? I wondered if it would be crispy and asked a question. It is not crispy.
Nakajikake’s endurance up is really nice. It is likely to greatly affect the life of the string itself.
